This is just a quick notice to let you all know.......

The BCRF is taking part in the Fort Langley Hallowe'en event. http://www.bcrenfest.com/FortLangley/EerieNights.html

Charity and Cobbs will be thrown in jail, The hangman will take a life, Sheriff McNabb and Deputy Wystan will have their hands full, torture devices will be on true historical public display, the widow will still be distressed by her husband's rotting body and the cook will be proud to show you what he intends to serve the condemned as their last meal.

Pre ticket purchases are recommended. This event will run from Oct. 29 to Nov. 1st, in the evenings and groups of 30 - 50 will be led into the Fort at half hour intervals. The BCRF story is approx. a half hour then the Friends of the Fort will take the group into the Upper half and provide at least another half hour of entertainment.

MILWAUKIE, OR - The third annual Davis Graveyard Community Open House is this Sunday. This open house is the opportunity for the general public to view the display behind the scenes. The creators will be on hand to give tours and answer questions on how all the props are created.

For the second year, the Milwaukie High School Dance team will perform their “Thriller” dance routine in the graveyard. To raise money, the dance team will be selling refreshments and taking donations. The Davis Graveyard is selling raffle tickets and extra props with 100% of the proceeds benefiting the dance team.

Visit the Davis Graveyard blog for current photos of the 2008 design. New to the display is a turn of the century replica hearse with a new animatronics hearse driver that warns visitors of the ghost and ghouls that haunt the graveyard.
