Davis Graveyard is commonly known as one of the best yard haunts in the country. They do an amazing job with their sets and props and offer workshops throughout the summer to pass their skills on to others. Their classes fill up fast so register ASAP if you're interested in attending. They live in Milwaukie, OR, just outside of Portland.







Skeleton Corpsing

Skeleton Corpsing Workshop

SATURDAY, JULY 14th - $70 materials fee and $30 per person per session. $100 total. Partner fee $20. 3 Slots left.

Nothing is creepier than a skeleton….unless it is a corpse skeleton. We will show you how to take a full size plastic skeleton, liquid latex, some cobwebbing and make it look like a rotted corpse. This class is fun and easy.

Crow Cage

Crow Cage Workshop

SATURDAY, JULY 14th - Session 2, 2pm-5pm. $70 materials fee and $30 per person per session. $100 total. Partner fee $20. 4 Slots left.

Now make the perfect showcase for your new corpse - a faux iron crow cage. You will learn how to make your cage out of aluminum and then discover how to age the metal – a trick you can use on almost any surface. You do not need to make a corpse to take this class.

Tombstones

Tombstone Workshop

SATURDAY, August 11th - Session 2 2pm-6pm

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 8th - Session 1, 9am-1pm. Session 2, 2pm-6pm.

$45 per person. Partner fee $20.

Create your own Davis Graveyard style tombstone. You will learn how to carve, shape, decorate, and paint a realistic tombstone made from Styrofoam that you will take home at the end of the workshop.

Space is limited to 12 tombstones per session. Once registered you must submit your simple epitaph 1 week prior to the workshop.

Stacked Books with Skulls

Stacked Books with Skull Workshops

SATURDAY, AUGUST 11th - Session 1, 9am-1pm.

$45 per person. Partner fee $20.

Create the famous Davis Graveyard stacked books with skull prop. You will learn how to carve and shape books out of Styrofoam. We will then show you how to attach a skull with a battery operated candle. This prop is designed for outdoor use, but it looks great in the house so you can have that Halloween look all year long.

Space is limited to 12 stacked books per session.

Mud Man

Mud Man Weekend - Class is FULL

SATURDAY & SUNDAY, JULY 28th & 29th - Day 1, 9am-12pm. Day 2, 10am-12pm.

Requires 2 people for each mud man. $75 per person for the weekend. $150 total. No additional partners option for this class.

Spend the weekend at the graveyard and learn to make the signature Davis Graveyard monk. You will start with a wooden frame and learn to build the body shape and get your hands (and the rest of you) dirty learning how to use monster mud.

You will get messy in this class bring shoes and clothing that you do not care about, monster mud will stain your clothing. This prop requires two people because burlap soaked in monster mud is heavy and cumbersome to work with! Your finished monk will be over 6 feet tall, so you will need a vehicle to get it home.

Mourner

Mourner Monument Weekend

SATURDAY & SUNDAY, AUGUST 18th & 19th - Day 1, 9am-12pm. Day 2, 10am-12pm.

Requires 2 people for each Monument. $90 per person for the weekend. $180 total. No addition partner option for the class.

Finally! For those of you that have been asking for this class for the past few years, we are ready to do it. You will learn to make a mourner monument. This is a multi-technique project. You will learn how to make a base for the statue and then learn how to make the body shape and use monster mud to make the draped body shape.

You will get messy in this class bring shoes and clothing that you do not care about, monster mud will stain your clothing. This prop requires two people because fabric soaked in monster mud is cumbersome to work with! Your finished monument will be over 6 feet tall, so you will need a vehicle to get it home.
