UPDATE 6/15: WHOA!!! Just realized that I forgot to post an update here on HauntedNight.com about the Red, White, and Dead Zombie Walk back on July 3rd. It was a truly horrific event...and on this website, that's a good thing! With SOOOO many different types of zombies, the people watching in Fremont was great...but not as great as the fun had by those who participated! Zombies came in all shapes and sizes: cheerleaders, businessmen, trekkies, doctors. There was a Where's Waldo zombie, Storm Trooper zombie, Nintendo Mario zombie, and even a transvestite zombie! Ultimately 4,233 zombies roamed the self-proclaimed "Center of the Universe" to reclaim the Guinness World Record from the British who recorded 4,026 zombies last year.

We shot a number of photos which were posted shortly after the event to our Facebook gallery or more high resolution versions of those images can be found over on Smugmug.

It appears CNN used some of this footage to create their own little montage as well: http://www.cnn.com/video/#/video/us/2010/07/05/natpkg.zombie.walk.komo?iref=allsearch

Will we look to beat 4,233 next year or will another area raise the bar? One thing is for sure, we can't wait for next year!
